In short

I provide drone and FPV for live broadcasts, sport, shows and events in Mallorca and the Balearic Islands. The aerial shot is integrated into the production as one more camera: we agree with the director which shots and when, and the drone comes in when the mix calls for it, not when it happens to be ready. I come from 18 years of television and live camera work with production companies and broadcasters such as Mediapro, Overon and IB3, in LaLiga football and in shows such as the RCD Mallorca light show at Son Moix. Before the event I review the venue, the airspace and the expected crowd, and arrange any coordination or authorisation needed; as a general rule, crowds are not overflown. I am a registered operator with AESA, with EASA A1/A3, A2 and STS certificates, an aeronautical radio operator licence and public liability insurance. Footage is delivered raw or edited, as agreed.

Who it is for

Production companies, broadcasters, clubs and event organisers who need aerial images integrated into a broadcast or a show: football, motorsport, concerts, festivals and corporate events. The aerial shot has to come in when the director calls for it, not when the drone happens to be ready. I come from 18 years of television and live camera work with production companies and broadcasters such as Mediapro, Overon and IB3, in LaLiga football and in shows such as the RCD Mallorca light show at Son Moix.

What it includes

Drone in multi-camera broadcasts

The aerial shot is integrated into the production as one more camera, coordinated with the director and the rest of the camera operators.

FPV for dynamic shots

Moving shots from inside the action, in the paddock, the venue or the stands, for openers, highlights and social media content.

Shows and events

Aerial filming of live shows, such as the light show at half-time of an RCD Mallorca match at Son Moix.

How I work

1. Before

I review the venue, the airspace and the expected crowd, arrange any coordination or authorisation, and agree with the director which shots and when.

2. On the day

I arrive with margin, brief with the director and the safety team, fly to the running order, and do not fly if conditions do not allow it.

3. Afterwards

Delivery as raw or edited footage, as agreed.

Frequently asked questions

Can the drone fly over the audience?

As a general rule, no. The shot is designed to get the image from a safe position without overflying crowds. If the production needs something different, we look in advance at which authorisation would apply and whether it is feasible.

Do you work live or only recording?

Both. Live, the aerial shot is coordinated with the director and goes into the mix according to the production's technical workflow. Recorded, it is delivered afterwards as raw or edited footage.

How far in advance should I book?

It depends on the location. For a shoot in an area with no airspace restrictions, a week is usually enough – sometimes less, depending on availability. If the location falls within controlled airspace, near an airport or heliport, in a protected natural area or in a built-up area, I need more lead time to arrange coordination or prior authorisations, and those timescales are not in my hands. The sooner you send me the exact location and date, the sooner I can confirm whether it is feasible and how much margin we really have.
